My Sporting Journey
I am a Triathlete, Cyclist, Model, and Ex-Banker. My fitness journey began in 2015 with the goal of losing weight without resorting to dieting. After a few years of casual engagement, I decided to challenge myself by registering for an ironman 70.3 Triathlon in 2019. This marked my transition from a non-swimmer to conquering open water swimming within six months to prepare for the race.
Triathlon has become my passion because it has brought me podium finishes. Recently, I achieved 2nd place in my age category at Tigerman 2024 in Nagpur, which involved a 2 km lake swim, 100 km cycling, and a 20 km run.
Triathlon achievements:
- 2nd place at Moil Tigerman Sports Nagpur 2024 (122 km distance)
- 2nd place at Bergman Tri 70.3 Kolhapur 2023
- 1st place at Gurgaon Duathlon 2023 (5 km run + 40 km cycling + 10 km run)
- 1st place at Aquariun Aquathlon 2022 (1.5 km swim + 10 km run)
- 1st runner-up at Arhata Olympic distance Triathlon Kolhapur 2021
Since school, I have been involved in sports, representing my state in table tennis. My daily routine includes running, strength training, swimming, and cycling, each done twice a week. This sport has allowed me to explore new places and gain new experiences.
Every race presents a new challenge, a new learning opportunity, and specific targets to achieve. The confidence and sense of accomplishment i derive from meeting these challenges are incredible. My mantra is "soch liya toh mumkin hai" (if you decide, it's possible)!
