My Sporting Journey
Sandeep began his athletic journey playing volleyball in school and continued through college, where he represented his team at the university level. Unable to pursue volleyball further due to scheduling conflicts, he turned to distance running. Training under coach Kevin and national medalist Brijlal sir, Sandeep achieved personal bests in the 10km and 21km distances. Despite a major ligament injury during the covid-19 pandemic, he recovered over a year, training diligently with self-made plans and brooks shoes. His comeback culminated in a successful TMM 2024 half marathon finish of 1:36 in Hyperion elite 2 shoes. Sandeep values the support of his running friends and finds fulfillment in being part of the brooks running community.
