My Sporting Journey
Roshni, an it professional and mother from Kolkata, overcame childhood clubfoot through surgery, enabling her to pursue passions like classical dancing and taekwondo. She shed 24 kg from her 88 kg starting weight and started running in 2021. Despite initially struggling with 5 km, she completed four full marathons and a 50 km ultra-marathon at Tata Ultra within two years. Roshni has excelled in 10ks and half marathons across cities, winning podiums in events like the 14k and 5k. Notable as a pacer for events like Tata Steel 25k Kolkata and NEB full marathon, she completed the Procam Slam last year. Distance running has been her path to self-discovery, fostering confidence and kindness along the way.
